The first Pride march in Columbus was in 1981 and drew around 200 participants—now, it’s the largest Pride celebration in the Midwest! With Columbus Pride drawing more than 700,000 people and recently being named among the superior Pride Festivals in the U.S. by Conde Nast Traveler, you'll be in good company if you're traveling into town to honor . If you're planning to come for the official rally, it's June 15th. Columbus Lgbtq+ fest Festival weekend kicks off at Goodale Park on Friday, June 13, from 4 pm to 10 pm, with the Pride March origin at 10:30 am on  Saturday, June 14.

From Stonewall's Pride March and Resource Fair to drag shows and many other ways to get involved, there's plenty to fill your itinerary this June.

This Pride Month, take advantage of the wide breadth of celebrations, resources and community engagement opportunities offered in Columbus. Whether you’re a member of the Diverse community or an ally, you can show your pride and support by attending drag shows, bar crawls, pageants, parades, festivals, fundraising events and more. Events may sell out in advance, so buying tickets early is recommended. Check with local Gay establishments and organizations for more events and performances as they arise.
