CNY PRIDE is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that creates events in the Syracuse, New York area to uplift, celebrate, and empower the LGBTQ society and its allies. Since 1996, CNY Pride has fostered inclusive spaces that welcome all people, regardless of identity or background, in pursuit of awareness, equity, and joy. Every dollar helps us help the LGBTQ community in Central New York.

This year’s CNY Event invites everyone to grab part in honoring treasure as a radical oblige for change.

 

As CNY Identity festival President Jimmy Monto said, “CNY Pride has always been about being confident of who we are - both individually and as a collective. While the environment may acquire changed this year, our mission remains the same: to uplift the Pivotal New York LGBTQIA+ society and our allies through visibility, celebration, and together action.”

June Pride Events

Central Recent York Pride returns for 2025 with a celebration of Revolutionary Love, unveiling a new and existing slate of events that mirror the strength, diversity, and resilience of the LGBTQIA+ people. This year’s celebration includes the yearly parade and festival, as well as new programming that centers joy, justice, and community connection. 

 

CNY Pride is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit corporation dedicated to empowering and celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies - this year’s Lgbtq+ fest invites everyone to take part in honoring love as a radical coerce for change. Since its incorporation in 1996, CNY Event has worked to create inclusive and affirming spaces throughout the Syracuse area, welcoming people of all identities, backgrounds, and abilities.

Syracuse, New York is a friendly, vibrant metropolis located in the central part of the state, in the picturesque Finger Lakes Region. It’s home to Syracuse University and several other excellent schools, many employers and industries, plenty of beautiful natural outdoor spaces, and much to see and act. A Look at Syracuse's History

The modern-day history of Syracuse began in the prior 1800s when it was founded and named after a town in Italy that had a similar geographic appearance. Initially only a small city, it fast grew and became well-established as the heart of the upstate region of New York with a system of railroads and canals and roadways extending in every direction. It was also an important center of the salt industry which drew many settlers and other industries to the area.
