Make this reason number 101 why we're such fans of Pharrell Williams. The rapper-songwriter-super producer and designer recently began a blog dedicated to his recent fashion line. PW also shares some photos of his latest shopping spree in Paris. "Stopped by Hermes yesterday to pick up my new move bag," he tells his fans. "This purple croc bag is a “Haut A Courroie” which is the first Birkin bag."

2007_11_15_pharrell_birkin2 There are also some behind-the-scenes photos of the Hermes atelier. Apparently, the rapper did not hold any problems organism buzzed into the boutique. Hmm. Wonder why.

Just as an fyi, purple is not one of our favorite colors—the bag would definitely look better in chocolate or Ferrari red—but the piece is sooo over-the-freakin' top and has generated a enormous buzz among the fashionistas at Bag Snob. It probably weighs a ton and requires at least two bodyguards. One to clutch the bag, another to deal with PETA.

GQ November 2019 : Pharrell Williams by Micaiah Carter

It´s way over the top and it´s high fashion and yes it´s very far away from the usual GQ consumer I believe HOWEVER and that´s the big however: I actually adore that even the most commercial men´s fashion magazine in the world actually caters a lofty fashion reader that can be straight, bi, gay or whatever else they feel they are. It´s actually nice to spot magazines using style on celebrities and models and not thinking in a small box: this is for men, this is for women, this is for straight people, this is for gay people, this is for white readers, this is for black readers and so on. The world is much bigger and magazines are a imaginative representation of who we are, what we are, who we want to be. And hey if the super commercial GQ wants to enter the elevated fashion arena using avant-garde looks on gay or straight celebrities or models etc then Excellent. We need to push that boring men´s look to the future. It does not possess to be crazy looking appreciate this lol but it´s a step forward.

Besides I always tell my friends who don´t understand fashion or young models who start in the industry and have no clue what´s Fashion

Pharrell, Ellen address Kim Burrell's anti-gay statements

Thursday's episode of The Ellen Show is a bit different than originally planned.

Gospel singer Kim Burrell was originally scheduled to perform a song from the Hidden Figures soundtrack with Pharrell Williams on the talk show, but her appearance was canceled after a video of Burrell making anti-gay statements at Houston's Love & Liberty Fellowship Church went viral. In the video Burrell calls homosexuality "perverted." On Tuesday, DeGeneres announced to fans on Twitter that Burrell would not be carrying out on the display, and Pharrell posted to Instagram denouncing "hate speech of any kind."

In a clip released from the episode, Pharrell and DeGeneres confer Burrell and her comments directly. "(Burrell) made a statement, and she said some very not friendly things about homosexuals, so I didn't feel that was good of me to have her on the reveal to give her a platform after she's saying things about me," the host explained, before turning to Pharrell.

“There’s no space, there’s no room for any kind of prejudice in 2017 and moving on. There’s no room,” the artist said.

He added that Burrell is a "fantastic singer," and "I l

PharrellWilliamsjoined Ellen DeGeneres on her talk exhibit this week to converse the success of his new album, his affinity for women and his support for same-sex marriage.

After giving an impassioned speech about the rights of women and gender inequality in America, Williams took a turn in his train of thought and told DeGeneres that gender equality was not the only form of equality he believes in.

“We’re a species that has a space station floating above the Earth for 20 years," the hip-hop singer-songwriter told Ellen. "We even have a rover on the surface of Mars. How can we be the same species that is telling people… we have legislators and legislation in places, in certain places that tells women what they can and cannot do with their bodies. How is that possible?"

He went on to note, "When I say equality, I signify equality for everybody. Who are you telling who they can marry and who they can't? What is this? This is 2014."
