CNN Reporter Kaitlan Collins Apologizes for Same-sex attracted Slurs in Resurfaced Tweets
CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins has apologized for using lgbtq+ slurs in tweets that resurfaced Sunday.
In the tweets, from 2011, Collins used the word “fag” in response to another tweet and also tweeted to another user that she didn’t grasp “if I wanna room with a lesbian.”
Collins tweeted Sunday night that the messages were sent while she was in college and that she regretted being “immature.”
“When I was in college, I used illiterate language in a few tweets to my friends,” Collins tweeted.” It was immature but it doesn’t represent the way I touch at all. I regret it and apologize.”
Collins joined CNN in June 2017, covering the Pale House, after operational at Tucker Carlson’s conservative website The Daily Caller.

2018: Rowling 'likes' an anti-trans tweet, says it was an accident
An initial instance of Rowling facing allegations of transphobia came in March 2018, when she was slammed for "liking" a tweet that referred to trans women as "men in dresses." But the author's agent told Pink News this was purely an accident. "I'm afraid J.K. Rowling had a clumsy and middle-aged moment and this is not the first time she has favorited by holding her device incorrectly," the spokesperson said.
Rowling later said she "absent-mindedly" liked the tweet when she meant to screenshot it because she had taken "an interest in gender identity and transsexual matters."

You can say whatever you want about Rosie O’Donnell. She’s a celebrity and people have some strong opinions about her. Some superb, some bad. But since she hasn’t been front and center in the public eye recently, I would wager that most people are more or less indifferent to her.
But not the President of the United States. He is still obsessed with O’Donnell. And he has taken his obsession to a whole fresh level.
