Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza , born June 26, 1984, in Wilmington, Delaware, is an American actor, comedian, and producer, besides being a bona fide bi legend. She is known for her deadpan comedic design but also for her versatility in dramatic roles, as well as her willingness to create some of the darkest and most nuanced characters in modern film and television.
She became a acknowledged name in Hollywood soon after starring in Parks and Recreation (2009-2015) playing her iconic role as April Ludgate — which she pitched herself to series creators Greg Daniels and Michael Schur after a casual meeting arranged by her agent who sold the interview as a must since she had just " met the weirdest, funniest teen I've ever met in my life ". Although this was not her first role in a professional setting, after playing April, Aubrey’s career truly began and she's since amassed a list of unforgettable television roles in major productions like FX’s Legion (2017–2019), The Legend of Korra (2012-2014), The White Lotus (2021-), Criminal Minds (2005-), and she earned iconic roles in films as well, in films like Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), Life After Beth (2014

Aubrey Plaza, the actress and comedian who’s defrosted our souls with her deadpan style

throughout the year we should be making sure bi people are ultra visible, especially for their
amazing fashion and keeping up with the trends. So, cuff your jeans and stab a needle
through your nose and let’s jump right into Audrey Plaza organism the bi-con that she is!
First up, we have got to love a queer person continuing the fight for equality and using her platform to make some noise!
Oh hi there! Just Aubrey casually making autumn leaves change to butterflies.
Ruby Red queen being at the top of our top 100!
Oh my goodness, women in suits are still majorly underrated!
And again! A flawless blend of masc and femme…Or just incredibly stunning!
The drama of this dress is giving the same drama of every awards show! I love it!

It’s giving such sweet vibes, as if we’re gonna collect berries and Eat Pray Love is not a movie I ever cared about, but I think it’s about how a white woman eats pasta, finds herself, and wears a hat (but not enough sunscreen). Although the book is mentioned in Aubrey Plaza’s fresh film, Spin Me Round, it is very much… not that. In Spin Me Round, Alison Brie plays Amber, a manager at an Italian chain restaurant who wins a trip/retreat to Italy from the company. It also stars Aubrey Plaza as Kat, assistant to the chain owner, as one of her love interests. I’ve only been to the Olive Garden once. My family was more of an Applebee’s- and Ponderosa-celebrating kinda crew, but perhaps I would have gone more and tried to work there if I knew there was a chance for me to go to Italy and have a terrifying and quick love affair with the boss’s assistant.
Ready for a little movie math? This is the third time Brie and Plaza have worked together alongside Plaza’s husband Jeff Baena (add in The Little Hours and Joshy), the third movie they have been in together that has queer vibes, coded and obvious (add in The Minute Hours and Happiest Season), and the fourth time they possess starred in movies together.

It’s always a lot of fun for me whenever a fresh celebrity comes out as bisexual because, as one of the tribe myself, I can’t aid but give a little WOO HOO to our minute spark of public presence all of a sudden.
This morning I read that Aubrey Plaza, one of my favorite actresses (who also happens to be Latina), has just revealed that she is bi. In an interview with The Advocate, the famously monotone funny female responded to a question about whether women come to her with:
“Oh, yeah. I don’t mind. I perceive I have an androgynous thing going on, and there’s something masculine about my energy. Girls are into me — that’s no secret. Hey, I’m into them too. I fall in love with girls and guys. I can’t help it.”
Reading the news this morning definitely made me give a big WOO HOO, as per usual, because I constantly find it commanding that bisexuality can still be relegated to the assist of the closet.
In fact, my possess coming out story wasn’t much alternative than what bisexuals face today – being told that it’s “just a phase”, an attention-seeking behavior or, most annoyin
